Who you will see
You will find that most bishops, pastors, assistant pastors, and assistants have been through personal problems in the past before they started attending the church.
Through the teaching and prayers they received at the UCKG, they used their faith and overcame these situations. They have all had a personal encounter with God and have undergone a transformation of self. They are therefore willing and capable of assisting you through difficult situations.
Please introduce yourself to one of them who will be more than happy to sit down and speak with you for however long you need. Alternatively, call (02) 9602-9837 to book an appointment.
Church services day by day
Every UCKG church holds three services a day, and we pray about different aspects of life each day.
Mondays – Financial problems
Tuesdays – Spiritual healing
Wednesdays – Personal development
Thursdays – The family and marriage
Fridays – Spiritual cleansing
Saturdays – Finances
Sundays – The strongest day when we focus on the Holy Spirit
UCKG clergy and members believe that prayer is effective in helping people to live better and happier lives, and that spiritual healing can result from prayer. Those who pray often seem to gain a sense of peace and communion with God and resolve their problems as a result.
Prayer seems to work more quickly for some people than others – depending on the individual, their faith and attitude towards God and prayer.
A Chain of Prayer is regular prayer over a period of seven weeks. People generally commit to making chains of prayer to resolve some issue that is troubling them. Chains of Prayer are made by the person seeking an answer, together with a Pastor and members of the congregation.
UCKG's experience is that on average, people feel better during the course of a Chain of Prayer and that the optimum effect occurs within about a year.
