The Greatest Events
The history of UCKG is also marked by the great
crusades of faith. A place called Quinta da Boa
Vista, Rio de Janeiro, was the first gathering for
thousands of people.
Maracana, then the biggest stadium in the world,
and the annexure Maracananzinho gathered over
250 thousand people in 1987, in a meeting called “The challenge of gods”.
The records of public attendance extended to many
provinces of Brazil as Sao Paulo, Bahia, Minas
Gerais, Parana and Federal District.
Another great memory was the meeting in Flamengo,
Rio de Janeiro, called “Families at the Foot of the
Cross”, April 2004, gathering 1 million and half
people.
