Perseverance!

Fighting for what you want

Perseverance is a quality that enables a person to stay firm with their objectives and goals until they are reached. A person with a firm, persistent character is not shaken when faced with various circumstances.

If we carefully examine the stories of the great people in this world and how they became famous and successful, we will find common qualities among them.

A very strong quality is that they always remained firm and displayed a persistent character. In spite of their many failures, they never gave up but pressed on towards their targets. As often as they fell, they would get back on their feet and continue their search for victory. If many of them achieved their goals, then why can’t we?

Everything in this life depends on perseverance and, if we persevere, believing that we will reach our goals no matter what, then we can count on the victories, in whatever it is we desire.

Therefore, we can say that materialising our desires does not depend on chance, but on each of us. We need to have a consistent and persevering spirit.

I believe that more than any other factor, defeat and failure are fruits of a lack of perseverance, because when we believe in what we are doing and are determined to succeed, we will certainly obtain positive results.

Why did Joshua have to go around Jericho 13 times consecutively? Why did Naaman have to dip himself in the River Jordan seven times in order to be healed? Why do we also have to continue doing things repetitively?

We must also march ahead, running towards our targets with a spirit of perseverance, not staggering, fainting or looking back, but staying firm.

God bless you.
