The Revolt that moves Faith

Challenge your enemy face to face.

For your faith to be evident, you must have courage to act it, and your courage comes as a result of your revolt against a particular situation. In this aspect faith can be seen as the mother of courage, because it’s your faith that sets the ball rolling. The Lord Jesus is the Author of faith and his Word is fulfilled when you act your faith.

The Bible shows us that God allows the devil to work in this world, for a determined period of time (Revelation 2.10; 12.19), but in return, He gives us a weapon to use against all evil works: the sword of the Holy Spirit, which is His Word.

Every conquest has a price and the price of blessings is to fight and overcome evil. You cannot conquer anything good without first overcoming evil. The Lord Jesus made this perfectly clear, in His teaching about the strong man who while armed, keeps his home and goods in peace. But if someone stronger comes along, he takes everything away. This natural law has existed since humanity began.

The land of Canaan was promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But in order for the children of Israel to live in it and enjoy the benefits, they had to first drive out all the inhabitants of that Land.

God’s order was that His people completely defeat their enemies. They could not make any exceptions. Under

no circumstances could the people have mercy on the enemy. It is a spirit of fight and of war that brings the victory.

The same applies for Christians today. The Lord Jesus promises us a life of abundance; but, for this to be reality, we need to fight and completely overcome the enemy.

Victory of good over evil is only possible when there is direct confrontation. Then the devil cannot dominate and posses what was promised to us.

This is the reason for many Christians’ failures. The majority of Christians think that because they are covered by the blood of Jesus, are baptised in the Holy Spirit and are faithful in church, they will automatically be blessed. No! A thousand times no!

To have what was promised us, we have to fight against every obstacle standing in our way, otherwise, the promise will just be an illusion. Our Lord didn’t come to bring peace but a sword! The sword is the weapon of attack and defence! If we do not use the sword of the Spirit against the devil he will use his sword against us.

If we have the sword and make no use of it, we will never conquer our promised land! The order is to attack, triumph and conquer. True faith is only complete in our hearts when it is driven by revolt against the enemy and all that oppresses us.

God bless you.
