What kind of faith do you have?

Why people insistently say they believe in God but live a very failed life? This is a sad reality! We see people glorifying God with their lips but not with their lives.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV

It becomes clear of God’s intension to prosper your life. Therefore, do not think that God does not want to bless you or that He wants to keep your life in a lower level.

When we talk about a miracle, God will do His part when you do yours. He wants you to be involved in His plan for you to prosper. This Scripture is the key to overcoming and having a successful life:

“…Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you…”

You should not think that if you simply pray everything is done, NO! You still have to assume this faith and put it into practice, act on what you believe. That is why we have campaigns, chain of prayers, etc… in the UCKG so you can assume your faith and practice it. When the blind man begun to shout the name of Jesus, it was out of faith that Jesus could heal him so, compelled by that belief, he acted!! “So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. Mark 10:51-52 NKJV

It seems to be clear to you now, right? If you believe but do not act your faith, it is useless, this is what the Bible says:

“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?... James 2:14 NIV (read further on verse 18-24)

If you have been living a life without conquering the great things of God, it is time to change your spiritual life style. Do not sit back and relax waiting for God to do what you have to do yourself; act, sacrifice, put your faith in action and it will be made perfect.

I know by now you are asking: how can I have an active faith? You have to be involved in a chain of prayer, come every Sunday morning and during the services, step-by-step, the Holy Spirit will guide you through. If you have faith but do not have actions, your faith will never save you and will never bring God’s results upon your life.

Dear reader, it is time to ACT, it is all or nothing, either God is or He is not. God is waiting for you to stand on your feet and believe wholeheartedly in His word of command; God wants to materialize His promises in your life so Act now! (Further reading Joshua 1:9)

God bless you.
