| No one will ever be blessed just because he is in the church; there are those who are in the church for many years and lack courage to act upon the promises of God.
“If God is with me I am going to do great, if He is not I am lost!” That’s exactly the point of view from the person who lives by faith; he does not consider the difficulties he sees, but the promises of God in his life.
Let’s verify the Holy Scriptures.“And Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.” “But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will |

| be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:33-37 NKJV
King Saul saw the problem but David saw the promises of God. Obviously, David was no match for that Goliath. David had all disadvantages; he was young; short in comparison to Goliath; he did not know how to handle an armour or weapon but David had a quality that made him to be ahead of Goliath – An active faith!
You’re maybe no match for the problem or challenge you’re facing, but your faith will put you ahead of your problem.
On the other hand, if your feelings are making the decisions, you will act as King Saul and his army; when you face your giant the circumstances will scare and confuse you making your faith to be contaminated with doubts consequently becoming useless.
You say: “I believe in God” but you do not have the guts to act upon what you believe. Thus you reap only a little here and there, because you have the feeling of faith but no courage to act.
Do not deceive yourself thinking that because you are in the church, automatically your life will change, NO! Transformation demands action.
Take note of the miracles in the Bible; whom did they happen to? Those who acted upon what they believed.
Would you like to write one more chapter of faith in this age and change the course of your life? Be courageous, of a challenging spirit and put the Word of God to the test, but do not forget it depends on action upon what you say you believe.
God bless you.
