Apostle Peter was the only man to walk on the waters besides the Lord Jesus.
“Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid. “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came towards Jesus.
Matthew 14:27-29 NKJV
Peter dared to believe in the word of Jesus. In that occasion, the disciples had thought they were seeing a ghost but when Jesus said: “Take courage! It is I” immediately Peter responded: “tell me to come to you on the water”.
When Jesus said, “come”, Peter was bold enough to obey that word, and that is why he was rewarded by being the only man to experience such an adventure. Though later he sank, because of his doubt, we cannot deny that he walked on the water.
If you want to walk on the water, be it a problem, fear, insecurity or complex, you have to take an attitude towards it. Remember that there were 12 disciples on the boat but only one had what it took to be rewarded.
For this reason we encourage people to make their chain of prayer, fast, to come to Sunday morning service, participate in campaigns that will help them to manifest faith in order to see the power of God. This is attitude all about.
Our Lord is a just God, and He is more than willing to change the life of those who are ready to put into practice what they believe! If a person does not put his faith in action, passive faith cannot help or even save him. “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” James 2:26
