The eyes or the brain?

Who sees?

Who sees, the eyes or the brain? The scientists are trying to find it out. They took an object and told a person to look at it; the brain produced a certain reaction. Then after, they told the same person to close his eyes and imagine the same object, and to their surprise, the brain produced the very same reaction as if, the person was looking at the object. So a question popped out, who sees, the eyes or the brain?

The Brain actually controls everything, if we speak of the five senses for example, they are leashed or unleashed upon the brain’s authorization. Therefore, if I speak what is negative the brain will send messages to my whole body to act in a negative and weak way, but if I speak in a positive way my body language will be completely different.

Doctors say that in many cases, the treatment becomes easier on patients who are determined to get well; even amongst those who are in life threatening situations, the chance of recovering are always higher when the patient is willing to live.

Though God is great, He will do very little or even nothing, unless there is determination in the heart of those who are coming to Him.

Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him.
1 John 3:21-22 NLT

What you see must influence somehow what you believe! For many people it is a challenge. Nevertheless, whoever manages to ignore it, will have more chances to succeed. The evil will keep on trying to make you feel guilty or afraid, so what you see or imagine can convince your brain to produce a negative response on your life.

That’s why God’s desire is to give those who surrender their lives to Him, a Revelation of His will! Isn’t that what has happened to Zacchaeus? According to the human eyes or believes, he had no chance of salvation. He was a deceitful person by nature however he did not pay much attention to his condition or to what people around him believed of him.

As a result, he was revealed of God’s power and mercy through Jesus and achieved the greatest blessing of all: salvation for him and his household.

So, instead of hiding away, thinking that you don’t have a chance, it is time to master not only what you see, but also what you think!

God wants to reveal to you His great plans, so lets us get started!

God bless you.
