Only those who have received God’s revelation will be able to become an offering to God. Who is an offering will always obey and serve God on the altar and it won’t be a one-off opportunity, but he will always be a living offering on the altar.
Having said that, you can now question yourself; “Am I giving offerings or am I an offering to God”?
Jesus said: “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and *mammon.” Matthew 6:24 NKJV
Whoever does not surrender his all is trying to keep loyal to two masters - God and whatever else he is not prepared to surrender; whatever or whomever it might be, that is his god and master.
What can God do in the life of those who are divided in between two thoughts? Nothing! “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8 NKJV
From the moment that a person gives his life to God on the altar, to do His will and serve Him with all his heart by giving the best of his life, the Holy Spirit will then reveal Jesus to him and transform his life into a living offering.
Other than that, life turns more difficult. The devil will have easy access into the life of the person. It explains why people are in the church and do not have their life changed. One day he is happy and strong, the other day, he is sad and weak.
God will only pour His greatness when the person has offered his whole life.
God bless you.

*Mammon, in the Bible, a personification of wealth and greed as a false god. Mammon was a Syrian god of riches. In the New Testament, Mammon is used in opposition to the living God (see Matthew 6:24; Luke 16:13).
