My name is Yolanda Artos, and let me tell you what Jesus did in my life.

Everything was fine until the month of April and May in 2009 because during these months I didn’t receive my menstrual period. In June and July I eventually had my menstrual period in abundance, every month every twenty five days. I began to feel a deep pain in my belly twice in different days, this concerned me so I decided to go see a doctor.

The doctors performed an ultrasound on me, and when the results arrived I went straight back to the doctor. The doctor explained I had many tumours in my uterus and two of them where dangerously large. The doctor sent me to a specialist, where he would examine me and decide whether to operate or remove my uterus. They also mentioned two of them were made from iron and where placed very low in my uterus, he then suggested what I should be eating to help my situation.

When I arrived home I was very worried because I didn’t want to have my uterus removed or have any other operation done. I made an appointment to see the specialist and the earliest I could make the appointment was 17th of August so I had to wait two weeks to see him. I told God that for the two weeks I would fast and to please except my sacrifice, and when I got down on my knees I felt a hand touch my belly and I heard a voice inside me telling me that I was just fine and healthy.

When I eventually went to the specialist on the 17th of August he began to examine me and immediately I began to bleed excessively, right there the doctors called an ambulance and I was taken to hospital. When they examined me in the hospital the doctors told me I had cancer in my uterus. The nurse who was treating me explained that one of the treatments I would have to undertake was radiotherapy & chemotherapy. I asked what if I didn’t go ahead with the treatment and she said I only had months to live because the cancer was already in it’s third stage and was spreading to my pelvis.

I went before God and asked him with all my heart if I could avoid doing the treatments and told him “father, not my will but yours”. I began both the radiotherapy & chemotherapy treatments on 7th of September, four days later I was back in the hospital with a very high fever. On Monday 14th of September I had to have the radiotherapy & chemotherapy treatments, that morning the doctors came in to examine the possible reasons for my fever but they couldn’t work out what brought the fever on.

They stopped the chemotherapy and continued to treat me only with radiotherapy, the doctors told me with the chemotherapy there was a chance it could kill me because it gave me a temperature of 39 degrees. It was 5 weeks of external radiotherapy treatment and 3 weeks of internal treatment and eventually on the 28th of October my treatment was over.

I had another appointment to see the doctor who treated me with the radiotherapy on the 2nd of December and she was extremely surprised by the fast recovery and so, on the 7th of December I began to go to work as normal.

I am completely healed. My co-workers couldn’t believe when they saw me back at work. They really thought I was going to die. I am a walking miracle.
