Forty Bishops and Pastors climb Mount Sinai to pray for the church

In faith, church members from all over the world sent their prayer requests to the Holy Land where bishops and
pastors united on Mount Sinai to pray. A three hour bus trip through the desert of Sinai to the foot of the highest peaks in the peninsula, and then a grueling three and a half hour climb to the summit, was what they had all prepared for, and yet it didn’t make the trek any easier.

The Bishops sent back footage of their climb and of their prayer as the papers of our written requests were being burned at the top of Sinai. As they prayed for us thousands of miles away, we were in agreement, knowing that God honors our faith and our sacrifice.

Just as the children of God were taken out of slavery in Egypt to the freedom and abundance of The Promised Land, it was determined that the same has to happen to all who sacrificed believing in God’s Word. Mount Sinai is a symbol of victory, where the impossible becomes possible. But the Challenge has just begun, and the battle to keep our faith strong no matter what still continues. God has heard your prayer, He sees your need, and He will come down with your blessing.

The Challenge takes place twice a year in The Universal Church, speak to a pastor at your local branch and find out how you can take part of the next Challenge of the Holy Land.
