Cintia Pettiford

My daughter is Cintia and she is 06 years old. Suddenly last June she started bleeding by the nose uncontrollably and I had to take her to the hospital for emergency care.
The doctors’ impressions were not good at all and after the first blood tests, their expectancies were confirmed to the worst: they were quite sure she was presenting all symptoms of leukaemia. When I heard of it, I felt like the floor was swept from my feet.

I could not believe or accept that I could loose my girl for such terrible disease. We were assisted by the best medical conditions offered by Sydney Children’s Hospital and blood tests were done daily showing that the counting of red cells were so low that there was not a remote possibility of Cintia having anaemia instead.

She was physically weak and having constant fever so much so the doctors had to change medicine and dosages to stronger levels.

At the UCKG, it was the time of the Campaign of Mount Sinai and her name was taken up to the mountain and prayed for by the Bishops and Pastors. The week following the prayer on Sinai,

She was scheduled to go back to the hospital for a very serious procedure but before prescribing it, the doctor decided for one more blood test and he was surprised by a different result than all the previous ones.

He has then applied different medicines and after one week has recognized that her diagnosis was reversed completely. Since then, she is completely healed and month after month they still test her blood and every time they are amazed with how normal the results show her to be. I assuredly say that it was only a miracle possible by faith.
